What does this mean?
The HPE StoreEver LTO-9 Ultrium 45000 is a ninth-generation linear tape open (LTO) technology tape drive designed for enterprise data storage. It offers native storage capacity of 18 TB per cartridge, expandable to 45 TB with 2.5:1 compression ratio. The drive features AES 256-bit hardware data encryption for securing sensitive data, LTFS (Linear Tape File System) support for ease of use, and backward compatibility with LTO-8 media. Designed as an internal drive for direct attached storage (DAS) environments in server configurations, it provides reliable long-term archival storage with a 300 MB/s native maximum transfer rate.
