What does this mean?
The HPE D3710 Enclosure is a 2U rack-mountable small form factor (SFF) drive enclosure designed for high-capacity, scalable storage expansion in enterprise environments. It supports up to 25 x 2.5-inch SAS or SATA HDDs or SSDs with a maximum capacity of 3080 TB SSD or up to 384 TB SAS per enclosure, expandable to 200 drives via daisy-chaining up to eight enclosures from a single controller port. Key features include 12 Gb/s SAS host interface, redundancy for high availability, support for tiered storage by mixing drive types, hot-swappable bays, and compatibility with HPE ProLiant Gen10/Gen10+ servers using SmartDrive carriers and management tools like HPE Array Configuration Utility.
