The Lenovo Emulex 16Gb Gen6 FC Dual-port Host Bus Adapter (HBA) is a sixth-generation Fibre Channel adapter designed for high-performance storage area networks. It features two 16 Gb dual ports with full-duplex 16/8/4 Gbps auto-negotiating speeds, supports PCI Express 3.0 x8 interface, and includes support for Brocade ClearLink diagnostics. The HBA uses Emulex’s advanced Dynamic Multicore ASIC architecture providing up to 1.6 million IOPS per port, enabling low latency and scalable VM density to meet demanding workloads such as flash storage arrays, boot storms in virtual desktop infrastructure, and high bandwidth SAN environments. It is available with 3U and 2U (low-profile) brackets and supports SFP+ fiber optic connections.
