Which brands are the most reliable?

If you are like us, when trying to decide whether to buy this product or that, reviews come in very handy. But what a review will not usually tell you is how reliable the product is over time. Here at Ascent we are in the position of also seeing how products stand up over time. After looking at all our faulty returns over the last 5 years, we have drawn up a list of the most reliable brands in a number of our popular categories. Just bear in mind that these results are based solely on the reported faults from our own sales, and may or may not reflect the much larger worldwide experience.
