Overview
SURECOM's EP-320X-S / EP-320X-S1 / EP-320X-R/ EP320X-R1 Buses are 32-bit Fast Ethernet adapters.It delivers high data throughput that eliminates I/O bottlenecks, making it far superior to ISA, EISA and bus architectures. These are high performance 100Mbps adapters based on this advanced platform. Designed to complement PCI Local bus computers, the PCI Adapter supports 32-bit data transfer and reduces CPU loading using bus master architecture. They also provide Wake on LAN function optionally.
Full-Duplex Support
You can operate the PCI Adapter in Full-Duplex mode. It doubles channel bandwidth from 10 to 20Mbps for 10BASE-T and from 100 to 200Mbps for 100BASE-TX.
Dual-Speed support and Easy Monitoring
Built-in Auto-Negotiation automatically detects and determines the optimal interoperation mode with other devices. The PCI Adapter supports both 10Mbps and 100Mbps data transfer rates. The LED status indicators make it easy to monitor network status.
Compatible with Common Base Drivers
A wide range of drivers are supplied for commonly used network operating systems. An onboard socket for a generic Boot ROM is provided to connect diskless network platform to popular network environments such as NetWare RPL, LAN Manager, Windows NT.
Wake on LAN Technology
Wake on LAN function supports you to turn on PCs from a sleep state over the network during off-hours. After the PC is awoke, you can run utilities such as disk backup, install software upgrades, or virus scan directly, to save time and to increase end-user productivity by avoiding disruptions during work hours.
